Aperitif is a local Aperitivo bar. With them being only 1 year old and having only social media presence, I was briefed to design and prototype a website for them.

Problem

Aperitif does not have a website, yet they are already quite established as a brand in Cape Town.

Concept

Aperitif is inspired by summer and the festivities of it. They pay attention to the minute details of every aspect of their identity, this website aims to pay respect to them by also paying attention to the details.

Inspired by the modern and floral simplicity of their restaurant on 227 Bree, I created a website that aims to fit their guidelines and style.

I made patterns inspired by the plants that they showcase in vases on tables. These floral motifs are repeated around the website to add interest to the overall design.

Reflection

This project was quite fun to execute. It was a challenge to finish the whole website from lo-fi wireframes, to design system to final prototype in 5 days.
